Happy Kampong Bak Kut Mee @ Jalan Malu Malu

Jalan Malu Malu??? Har, where is that? Many of us will scratch our heads and think it's somewhere across the causeway. But it's here in Singapore albeit in the ulu northern part of Sembawang about a couple hundred metres from the Sembawang Shopping Centre.

This place serves great bak kut mee during the day. It is perpetually full and one has to wait for at least twenty minutes to get a taste of this yummy bak kut mee. The mee and the bak kut comes in separate bowls. The bak kut is like conk bak. They use the soft bone meat and cooks them in a high pressure cooker. Turns out to be very tasty. Always order extra bowl of the bak kut soup cos sure not enough one.
